Description
Leo Trotsky (1879-1940), Russian, Jewish Revolutionary Leader. At the age nineteen he was as a member of a Marxist group and was sent to Siberia. After the March 1917 revolution he returned to Russia, joined the Bolshevik party and with Lenin was mainly responsible for organizing the October Revolution. Trotsky was assassinated in 1940 in Mexico by Ramon Del Rio. An order signed by Leon Trotsky in black pen in 1918 as a People’s Commissar of War Affairs. Translates: An order of the People's commissariat of the war affairs. July 31, 1918, Moscow.
